It's no secret that election season brings high ratings to tv-news organizations. But especially recently, it seems like tv-news is going out of control. They choose what to report based on how they predict will increase their ratings. This can be a potential avenue for misinformation as well as make it harder for people to see all sides of a presidential platform. On the other hand, without tv-news, American's would be less educated in general about the politics of the nation, and this could cause major decisions to be made based on a lack of information.
